This Privacy Policy explains what information MyValueApp (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it,
and the choices you have.
Summary (plain language).
- We collect only what’s needed to run the app: account info, your in-app content (values selections/notes), settings, and subscription status.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your data for ad tracking.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account & identifiers
- Firebase UID (technical user identifier).
- Email address (only if you sign up with email/password or provide it through sign-in methods).
- Authentication metadata (sign-in method/provider).
- Account timestamps (e.g., creation time).
1.2 Your content in the app
- Values card choices (e.g., card ID and selected category).
- Notes you write (if you choose to add them).
1.3 Settings & notifications
- Notification preferences (on/off, schedule time).
- Device time zone (to schedule reminders correctly).
- App preferences (e.g., language, onboarding/progress flags).
1.4 Purchases & subscriptions
- Subscription status (active/inactive) and plan type (if applicable).
- Transaction linkage identifier (e.g., Apple original transaction ID) stored to associate premium access with your account.
- Start/end dates of premium access (if stored in your backend).
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
1.5 Data stored locally on your device
- Onboarding/progress state, language preference, and local reminder settings.
- If you use widgets, some data may be stored locally in an App Group container to display the widget.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service (login, syncing, saving your choices and notes).
- To enable reminders and app personalization based on your settings.
- To enable and verify premium access (subscription status).
- To respond to support requests.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
3. Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We use third-party providers to operate the Service:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Cloud storage, security features) to store account data and your in-app content.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit/App Store) to process purchases and manage subscriptions.
- Google Sign-In (if you offer Google login) to authenticate your account.
These providers process data under their own policies. We share only what is necessary for the Service to work.
4. Data Retention
- We keep your cloud data while your account is active.
- If you request account deletion, we delete your account data from our systems within a reasonable time, unless legally required to keep certain records.
- Some data may remain on your device until you delete the app.
5. Your Choices & Rights
- Access / correction: you can update certain information in the app (where available) or contact us.
- Delete account: request deletion at myvalueapp@gmail.com.
- Push notifications: you can disable them in device settings at any time.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Security
We use reasonable security measures (authentication controls and secure cloud infrastructure).
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers operated by our service providers in different countries.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data as described in this Policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
